Aqua set is a water-based, highly-pigmented screen ink for cardboard, paper and wood.
Aqua set can be printed on paper of 130 gr/m² or more. With superior performance and colour brightness that eliminates the use of solvents so it’s not only safe for the environment and the printer, but ensures equipment can be easily cleaned with water and solvent fumes are eliminated.
Screen meshes of 77-140T monofilament polyester are suitable for Aquaset applications. Ensure adequate ink on the screen for even print. Between prints, ensure ink is flooded over entire image area to prevent drying-in. Ensure that screen emulsions and blockout are water-resistant and fully cured.
Cleaning: with water (with or without high pressure).
Drying:
10min. open air.
In tunnel, can immediately be piled when leaving the tunnel.
Drying rates are affected by ink thickness. Testing under print shop conditions on substrates is recommended before commencing.
